Current Focus: Mental Health
This December looks a lot different than anyone anticipated, and it's easy to forget just how stressful this time can be for us high school students. If cramming for finals, applying for scholarships and colleges weren't enough stress, we are doing all of it amid the uncertainty of a global pandemic. Talk about pressure! Despite everything we have going on, it's important that we remember to prioritize taking care of our mental wellbeing.
Unfortunately, dealing with mental health struggles is still very stigmatized - especially for young people. These are the reasons why we are raising awareness on this issue, and we would love to hear why it matters to you, too!
We will be spending some of this winter taking over the Speak to Act social media channels individually to share about our individual struggles and sharing ways that we practice self-care for stress, anxiety, and more. We would love if you'd follow along!
